I was watching Good Morning America this morning and there was a gentleman that has lost almost 400 pounds. He had a really neat idea that helped to motivate him on his way to weight loss. It was his skinny list. A list of 37 things that he’d be able to do once he was skinny.
On his list were things like: being able to fit into a sports car, being able to fit into one seat on an airplane instead of two, etc. I think a skinny list could be really motivational and I’ve really slacked off on my weight loss goals lately. Thankfully I’m not horribly overweight, but I do have about 40 pounds that I’d looooove to lose.
Will this get me started back and on my way to losing the weight that I want to lose or will this make me feel more bummed out about being a little overweight? We girls are pretty hard on ourselves! I don’t know, but maybe it’s worth a try. What do you think? Do you have a skinny list? What would you put on yours? I’ll share mine as soon as I get it finished.
