I was watching Good Morning America this morning and there was a gentleman that has lost almost 400 pounds. He had a really neat idea that helped to motivate him on his way to weight loss. It was his skinny list. A list of 37 things that he’d be able to do once he was skinny.
On his list were things like being able to fit into a sports car, being able to fit into one seat on an airplane instead of two, etc. I think a skinny list could be really motivational and I’ve really slacked off on my weight loss goals lately. Thankfully I’m not horribly overweight, but I do have about 40 pounds that I’d looooove to lose.
Will this get me started back and on my way to losing the weight that I want to lose or will this make me feel more bummed out about being a little overweight? We girls are pretty hard on ourselves! I don’t know, but maybe it’s worth a try. What do you think? Do you have a skinny list? What would you put on yours? I’ll share mine as soon as I get it finished. Let me know if you decide to make one too.

Hike around Loch Ness
Cycle to the grocery store regularly instead of driving
Run, swim and maybe even find a trampoline.
I would love to Love to ride a horse.
Buy a outfit at a non-plus size store.

Yep. We’re really hard on ourselves. I have a list like that, but it’s my life list. Trying to be more healthy and balanced is on my list. It’s not THE list. Kudos to the guy for making the changes he did though. I personally REALLY love Weight Watchers. It’s more of a lifestyle than a diet. Love the ideas and looking forward to more. 😉
