It’s time to start planning for graduation! Can you believe it’s that time already? Another homeschool year is coming to a close in a few months. Where does the time go? I’m here to help you plan with my Homeschool Graduation Planner that will help you be organized and not forget anything for your senior’s graduation. Check it out here! Why start planning now? Whether you are planning Preschool graduation or Kindergarten graduation for your adorable little graduate, or Senior graduation for your child that has grown up way too fast, starting to plan now will get you ahead and will give you plenty of time to work on all the fun details.

Preschool and Kindergarten graduations are so adorable! My youngest got to have a Kindergarten graduation and I just cried. Their ceremony was the sweetest. You would have thought she was graduating high school. This invitation would be precious a Kindergarten or even Preschool graduation. You could even display it when she graduates from high school.

What should you be doing in February to get ready for graduation? You should be meeting with your graduation committee and narrowing down dates, time and location for sure. Then, it’s time to start looking at caps and gowns and if you need those and getting those ordered. If you are doing personal graduation and not a group ceremony, then you also need to be deciding on dates, locations, etc.
Next up would be working on graduation announcements, invitations and thank you cards. The earlier you start on these the better. Starting early gives you time to design your own and have them printed with a company like Basic Invite. Their graduation stationery is absolutely gorgeous! I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to do things just like everyone else. I like everything to be unique and personal and with Basic Invite you have so many choices and designs with the flexibility to customize just about every part. So you can make your graduation stationery reflect your graduate.

I honestly can’t get over how gorgeous these cards are! I wish I had a graduate! Don’t forget about the graduation party, you have to plan that also. A lot of homeschool families choose to do a party in place of a formal graduation ceremony or along with it. Sometimes you are limited to the number of people that you can invite to the ceremony if you doing group graduation, so you will want to have separate invitations for anyone you are inviting to a party.

I am blown away by the designs that they have in case you aren’t one that likes to design things on your own. Start with one of their designs and have fun tweaking it. Play around with their color choices, types of paper and maybe even add a little rose gold foil. Then add a matching envelope and they can even print your addresses for you. How great is that? Yes, it may be cheaper to go Staples and have something printed, but they won’t be pretty as these. You can even order a sample to make sure it’s exactly the way you and your graduate want it.
And if all that wasn’t enough right now Basic Invite is offering 15% off with coupon code: 15FF51.
