Just a little story to make you giggle today.
My cats, Twilight and Tux, woke up very hungry this morning. They looked like little beggars in a Charles Dickens movie. They were so ready to eat that when I went to wake Spencer up they both marched straight into his room and to bed meowing for him to get up. So Spencer, still half asleep, went into the kitchen and reached into the cabinet under our sink to grab the food bag for two very hungry kitties. They had been waiting and pacing all morning waiting for him to wake up and now they were getting their wish. Food! Yum, yum! As they gathered around their bowls licking their lips and wagging their tails, Spencer started to pour out their breakfast, when out of the bag jumped a little black mouse! I guess he wanted breakfast too, but not at my house! This mouse must go! But what did my kitties do? Tux, my giant of a cat, could have cared less. He just dove into his bowl and started scarfing down his breakfast. Twilight on the other hand is my one and a half year old, ferocious tiger of a cat, he ran away scared to death! He wouldn’t even go back into the kitchen to eat. When I picked him up his eyes looked like Bugsy from Bedtime Stories! He wouldn’t go back into the kitchen until Becca carried him in there and proved to him it was gone. Then he finally ate his breakfast, very quickly I might. Who would have thought that my ferocious kitty that is the guardian of our home, would be scared of a little mouse?
oh my, that is a crack-up! My dh would be threatening the cats with a new home, for not earning their keep! Our dog probably would have the same reaction 🙂
stopping by from the HHH, love the name of your blog <3
My husband and your husband think alike! Mine reminds the cats everyday that it’s their job to take care of mice and they are not earning their keep. They just look up at him with great big eyes and we just laugh! He talks to them like little children and threatens them with a time out! 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by!
