I’m starting at an endless stream of laundry and I thought I would share some laundry folding techniques in case you’d like a review or would like a new way to fold laundry. These techniques are great for your children and teens to learn too. Proper laundry folding is a great skill to have. You could even make them part of a home economics class. Not a homeschooler? Then do laundry side by side while watching tv. Happy folding!
Martha Stewart is a classic to me and has been the gold standard for many years. This is her way of folding a t-shirt. I’ve never folded mine this way, but it’s neat to learn a new way.
And now, here’s how to fold a button-down shirt by Martha Stewart. It will make your closet look like a store! Such a pretty way to fold shirts so they always look crisp and clean.
Next is Marie Kondo. In these videos, she shares how to fold all kinds of clothing with the “file folding” method. Click here to see how she folds, shirts, jeans, sweaters, etc.
Did you know there is a proper/easiest way to fold a fitted sheet? I hated it trying to fold them! I could never get one to fold right until I watched this a few years ago on her show. It always wound up being a large lump. Now it all makes sense! No more lumpy fitted sheets!

I totally remember her demonstrating how to fold a fitted sheet! LOVE Martha. Now I just need a review on how not to lose a month’s worth of blog content and web design. 🙁

Omg! Poor thing! I can’t find your blog either when I was looking for you. What happened? And thanks for creeping my blog! I’m really glad you like it:) That was really funny! I know a ton of teachers here in NC that would agree with you about the school system. I feel really bad for teachers these days and everything they have to deal with. As far as blogging, I have the free version of wordpress for now, but I hope one to self host. Be sure to stop back and creep my blog anytime 🙂 Have a great day!
