I spent today with my youngest daughter, who is recovering from a very traumatic and slightly scary tonsillectomy. Her post recovery has been very rough, to say the least because she wound up having a serious clotting issue post surgery. Today I really wanted to her to eat something, anything. So her Grandpapa went to her very favorite Chinese restaurant and brought us both some very yummy egg drop soup. She ate all of hers! Thank you Grandpapa and Ting Hao! On to the fortune cookies; (she is saving hers until she feels better and can swallow). I opened mine and this is the fortune that I got.
All I can say is, “I would really like my luck now.” “Do I really have to wait three days?” How funny! I guess I’ll let you know if my luck is better in three days! But I already feel pretty lucky now that the worst is behind Emily and she is on her way to recovery and all the ice cream she can stand to eat.
Hope your luck improves & your daughter heals quickly 😉

Thanks so much for the well wishes! She is already on the mend and was cleared by the doctor yesterday. A definite answer to prayer!
Girl!! That IS funny. Sounds like something I would get too. Better yet, my cookie probably would have an “IOU” fortune.
I am here from the HHH. So, consider me a newbie on your follow page. 😉
OMG, your’re funny! I just laughed when I read my fortune, it made my day! Thanks for the visit today and for becoming a follower. I’m heading over to visit you!
Happy to hear she is on the mend. It’s never easy to see your kids go through anything like that.
Thanks so much and amen! I hurts a momma when her baby hurts, but praise the Lord she is doing much better!
