This tank dress from Old Navy is a must-have for your closet. It is one of the most versatile dresses I’ve ever owned. I wish I would have started wearing them sooner. I’ve shied away from wearing dresses for years and only wearing them on very special occasions because of weight gain, but not anymore.
Last year, she convinced me to try this one on from Old Navy and I’m so glad that I did. It was so comfortable, I loved that it came in so many colors and that it hung nicely on my body. It’s also so versatile! You can wear it as is, add a cardigan, throw a sweater over it, or as in the picture wear it with a cool denim jacket.
I love that I can wear this dress comfortably around the house and look cute and stay cool in the NC summer heat. I’ve worn it running errands and even dressed it up for church and going out. I love it so much that I bought it in teal and black. I should have bought one every color! Teal is no longer available, but they add new colors every year. So you’re sure to find colors that you like.
They have added even more variations to this basic dress this year! Stripes, more colors to choose from, a cool vintage style, a mini, and pockets! Pockets are awesome! The great thing about these dresses is that you can wear them from spring to fall. Just a little flare if you like a fuller skirt.
Soft jersey shirt dress with pockets.
Stripes! Don’t be afraid to wear stripes!
Bold colors look great on anyone.
This purse is from Target, but it would look amazing with any of these spring dresses.
Don’t forget to accessorize!
You can never go wrong with a denim jacket. They make anything look cooler.
Go with heels for a dressier look.
Choose flats for a relaxed look.
As I said, this style looks great on just about anyone. They come in a ton of sizes and yes, even plus size. The shape is great because they don’t cling super tight which I love. They have a cute swing to them and the A-line is a great silhouette for almost any body type. So, if you’ve stayed away from dresses or you’re looking for a great basic tank dress for spring and summer, give these a try.
