See my full disclosure here.” Just because you're a homeschool mom doesn't mean your daily wardrobe has to be drab. It also means that you don't stay in your pajamas all day, unless it's that kind of a day! I think sometimes as moms, and as homeschool moms, because we're home all day with the kids we feel like we kind of lose our style. But you don't have to. One thing I found out being a homeschool mom was that you never knew what the day would bring. For me, it was always best to go ahead and get dressed because I never ... read more

Simple and Light Corn Chowder
“This post may be sponsored or contain affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you make a purchase through a link. See my full disclosure here.” It's the end of summer and it's pouring down rain and I have all the fall feels. Last night was the perfect night to make this Corn Chowder and Buffalo Chicken Meatball Subs. It may sound like a weird combination, but trust me, they go together perfectly. They are wonderful on their own, but together they're incredible. This soup is just as wonderful during the summer, especially when the corn is fresh as it is during the fall and winter. It makes a great year-round soup since it's fairly ... read more
New and Updated Girlfriend’s Guide 2 Homeschool Graduations!
I'm so excited! I have redesigned this book from the inside out. I really love how it turned out. I've given it a fresh new color scheme and completely redesigned every single page. Not to mention I added several new pages. I had no idea when I was working on Becca's graduation, our first to graduate, that it would turn into a planner. When I started planning her graduation, I really couldn't find anything that helped me keep up with all the details, so I started designing my own. By the time I got to my third graduate, it was a book. Believe it or not, Emily used this book to plan her own graduation party. I wanted to make a planner/book/workbook that would work no matter ... read more
Gorgeous and Minimalist Daily Homeschool Planner On Sale Now!
I designed this gorgeous hot pink and gray homeschool planner back in 2016! That seems ages ago now. As I was perusing my Etsy shop, TeraBareDesigns, I realized that I haven't updated this planner since then. Man, life gets super busy sometimes. So, I sat down a few days ago and decided it was time for this beauty to get a much-needed update. Isn't she pretty now that she's all updated? I remember that I wanted this planner to be very simple and minimalist and I feel like I stayed true to that. There isn't a ton of bells and whistles jammed onto the daily planning pages, and the overall design is sleek and clean. But with a pop of hot pink (magenta) and cool gray. It's so ... read more
Big Birthdays, Makeup, Never Enough Scrunchies, and Dinosaurs Galore!
“This post may be sponsored or contain affiliate links, which means I may receive a small commission, at no cost to you, if you make a purchase through a link. See my full disclosure here.” I just had my 51st birthday! Ouch! I'm trying to be excited about it. I have a million reasons why I should be excited about it and I'm determined to let it just be a number. One thing I have discovered since turning 50 is it's not the same as turning 50 was 10, 20, and 30 years ago. 50 today is so different than it looked when my grandmother turned 50. Don't you think? Well, to start off with, I don't feel old, meaning I don't feel like an old person. I don't feel like I thought I would at ... read more
New Daily Homeschool Planner is Now Available!
I'm so excited to be able to offer a new version of my Chaos Coordinator Homeschool Planner for the 2021-2022 school year. This planner has everything that my weekly planner has and more! I decided to make a daily planner at the suggestion of one of my best friends and she was right, this is really cool. Let me tell you all about it. First, I'm in love with this year's color scheme of pale pink and denim blue with hints of yellow. The colors are soft, but perfect for writing on. The focus will be on what you write and you'll be able to see your notes quickly. I also love that there's a lot of room for planning your homeschool day. Each day has a ton of room that you can break down ... read more
The Awesome New 2021 – 2022 Homeschool Weekly Planner is here!
I'm so excited! Can you tell? I've been working really hard updating the Chaos Coordinator planner. What a whirlwind this has been! Last year during the pandemic my laptop's hard drive got completely wiped out. I cried, got angry, and then just had to come to the conclusion that everything I've done was gone and I'd have to start over again. Thankfully my hubby came to my rescue and took me shopping for a brand new computer! All of this to say that I literally had to redesign this planner from the ground up. I changed a few things that you probably won't notice and few things that you might. Just in case you've never used this homeschool planner before let me introduce it to ... read more
How to Homeschool Through the Summer Heat
Summer is finally here! No more homework, no more books! No more teacher's dirty looks! Summer is typically meant for vacations and a break from school, but what if you want or need to homeschool through the summer? I've been there. There have been many years that we homeschooled the summer. Sometimes it went great and sometimes it was rough. Why did we homeschool all summer? Because we had some things to work on. Throughout the year I noticed one, or all of my kids were struggling in a particular area and we needed some extra time to work on it.We had a family tragedy and we weren't able to do school for a couple of months and we needed to catch up.We got behind due to sports and ... read more
Easy Southern Banana Pudding Recipe perfect for summer
This is the easiest and yummiest banana pudding recipe ever and you can't have summer in the South without banana pudding. I think just about every picnic, church gathering, and family reunion will have at least one banana pudding dessert. That's how much we love our banana pudding here! If you are looking for a baked banana pudding, this is not it. I am not a fan of baked ones. Please don't take any offense if you're a fan of baked. I know pudding style banana pudding vs. baked pudding is like fighting over Duke's mayonnaise vs. JFG. All are welcome here. I just love the no-bake version and it's a lot less work and I don't have to deal with a meringue, which I'm not really good ... read more
