
This pie has come at the right moment. Thank you, thank you, Paula Deen for the recipe for Old-Fashioned Fudge Pie! I needed something simple for Emily to do for her cooking class and here came the perfect recipe. It’s so fudgy and yummy and it reminds me of the ones everyone made when I was a kid. It brings back so many memories. It doesn’t get any simpler than this, plus I get to play with my new toy. A brand new camera! Enjoy the pics and the pie!

Al the ingredients you need….
Yummy chocolate……
Just melt chocolate and a stick of butter….
Add sugar…
Stir well…
Pour into crust…
It should come out set, but not stiff and hard…let cool….
Top with Cool Whip and dig in!

can u leave it out on counter or put in refrige?

Does this pie grainy from the sugar?
Hi Amy! I typically don’t have any issues with it being grainy. Just make sure that you melt the chocolate and butter slowly and when you mix in the sugar and eggs, that you mix it very thoroughly and not over the heat. It could cause the eggs to curdle if it’s too hot. I hope that helps. Have a great day! Tera
