My computer is sick, it has a virus. I’m convinced of it. Last night I got a funky message that popped up when my computer restarted. It restarted on its own so I should have realized something at that moment, but I thought it was just getting ready to hibernate. Then some weird screen popped up that said it didn’t restart correctly and needed to run a scan or something. I sat there for a minute and just looked at it trying to figure it out. Then it dawned on me that it was a virus! I tried to shut it down as quickly as I could. Now I can’t open Google Chrome and I have to use Internet Explorer. Yuck! For a blogger, it’s all about the Chrome, or at least for me.
Do you know how much schoolwork is on this thing that we can’t get to today? Seriously! My son’s computer science curriculum, etc. Ugh!
Also, my daughter’s brand spanking new Gateway laptop that she bought by herself is dead. She just bought it at Christmas! We could almost hold a funeral for it except, it does turn on. Her hard drive is apparently dead. So, we are sending it back to them to be fixed.
I just want to scream! Throw a tantrum! But I can’t, I’m supposed to be a grown-up. I’m downloading a trial of Kaspersky to see if it can find anything because what I have already isn’t finding the virus. I hope I don’t have to take it to the doctor. They should make health insurance plans for computers. I’m telling myself to breathe and take deep breaths, but I might hyperventilate. Am I allowed to pray for healing for my poor sick computer? Or can I just lay hands on it? (Insert giggle here cuz I’m just kidding!) You may want to pray for me instead! I just want to cry….
