It’s the beginning of another year and a new year full of possibilities. Time to start those workouts, again. If you’re like me, you may have had Covid and it totally kicked your butt. I hardly exercised last year. I tried a few times to go to the gym, but it has taken all year to recover. So, for me, it’s time to get in gear.
It’s time to dust off those tennis shoes and get back to working out. If you dust off those shoes and you discover that they may not be quite up to the job, then it’s time for a new pair. Especially if you haven’t bought any new tennis shoes in a few years. Tennis can be expensive. But you can find fantastic, affordable tennis shoes that are just as good if not better than their more expensive counterparts.
Shoe technology has changed a lot over the years and you want to make sure you’re using the right type of shoe for your workouts. You also want to make sure that you have the right fit. I love shoes that are super flexible for most of my workouts. But, if I’m actually going to the gym to lift weights, then I may want to wear my tennis shoes that have a sturdier bottom.
Below I’ve chosen some of my personal favorite affordable tennis shoes. These are brands that I’ve actually worn and worked out in.
Affordable Tennis Shoes Perfect For Your Next Workout

I love my Freely shoes the most. They’re great for everyday wear, walking, and any general workouts. They are super comfortable and affordable.

I have these in black and hot pink! These do not have a very flexible sole. But, if I’m going to do squats or anything wear If you want a good bit of stability these are great. They’re also superb running shoes if you’re into running.

Nike Flex is another great option especially if you like a super flexible sole. Very comfortable and another great all-around shoe for just about any type of workout.
Tennis shoes don’t necessarily have to be super expensive to be the perfect shoe for your workout or daily wear. The most expensive one on my list is Brooks but these are worth it and if you catch them on sale, bonus!
