Target is having a 20% off shoe sale and it’s just in time for Mother’s Day! What mom, mother-in-law, grandmother, stepmother, or first-time mom doesn’t need a new pair of shoes? I’m currently updating my shoe collection because I haven’t bought shoes for myself in forever, like most moms. I’ve finally gotten my fall and winter shoes taken care of but now it’s time to work on spring and summer shoes. Should I just start dropping hints or go ahead and run to Target? I spend so much time at Target!
I picked out all different types of spring-to-summer shoes, from sandals to high heels because a girl has to have the right shoes for each outfit. But seriously, any of these shoes would like great with shorts, skirts, dresses, or jeans. I actually already have two pairs of these shoes that are on sale and I love them! I have brown leather espadrilles and black wedges. They are very comfortable and I wear them a lot.
Not sure how to wear these shoes? Here are a few tips:
- If you have any summer weddings to go to, these heels would look gorgeous with anything dressy, or even pair them with jeans for a date night out. If you’re really brave you could even pair them with the right pair of shorts.
- The little sandals/flip-flops would look adorable on the beach, or anywhere with shorts and a cute skirt.
- Think of espadrilles and wedges as your new utility shoes for spring and summer. They look great with literally anything you wear. The only difference, wear the wedges when you feel like you want a little more heel. The great thing about the wedges is how easy they are to walk in. You can pair these shoes with anything.
So why wear tennis shoes or boring flip-flops all the time (I know, I wear them too!) when you can change them up? Life is too short not to wear the shoes! And sometimes, it can change our mood. It’s amazing how simply just switching up a pair of shoes can make you feel or change how an outfit looks.
So, even if the hubby or the kids got you a fantastic Mother’s Day gift, you can still get yourself one. Don’t know what to get your Mother-In-Law? Order her a fabulous new pair of shoes.
